Born Redbourne, Herts, enlisted St. Albans, Herts. Husband of Florence (nee reynolds) Deamer, of 12, Orachard Street, St Albans, married 3 July 1909 in St Albans, three girls and one boy. In the 1901 census he was aged 15, born Redbourn, Hertfordshire, an Agricultural Labourer, son of Samuel and Hannah Deamer, resident Cottage, Village, Redbourn, St Albans, Hertfordshire. In the 1911 census he was aged 25, born Redbourne, Hertfordshire, a Carman to Contractor, married to Florence with one daughter, resident 12 Orchard Street, St Albans, Hertfordshire. Attested 9 December 1915 in St Albans, aged 29 years 60 days, To Amy Reserve 10 December 1915, mobilized 4 April 1916, posted 6 April 1916, joined Army Veterinary Corps 18 April 1916, transferred to Royal Field Artillery 14 August 1916, transferred 17th Battalion, Training Reserve 24 November 1916, transferred Loyal North Lancashire Regiment 11 January 1917, posted 1st Battalion 14 January 1917. Served at home 9 December 1915 to 18 April 1916, embarked at Southampton 18 April 1916, disembarked Havre 19 April 1916, in France 19 April 1916 to 9 August 1916, at home 10 August 1916 to 10 January 1917, embarked at Folkestone, disemabrked Boulogne 16 January 1917, in France 16 January 1917 until his death.
