The village war memorial is in the form of a brass plaque within the chuirch of St Mary the Virgin.

PELLETT	Henry (Harry)	Private L/9782. 2nd Battalion, Royal Sussex Regiment. Died Tuesday 29th September 1914.
DAW	Alfred [James]	Private G/2661. 8th Battalion, The Buffs (East Kent Regiment). Died Monday 21st August 1916 aged 19 years.
GILL	Frederick Bert	Private G/9390. 6th Battalion, The Buffs (East Kent Regiment). Died Friday 7th July 1916 aged 29 years.
UNDERDOWN	George	Private T/240388. 5th Battalion, The Buffs (East Kent Regiment). Died Wednesday 24th January 1917 in Iraq aged 21 years.
DAW	Charles Ephraim	Private 18555. 2nd Battalion, Royal Irish Regiment. Formerly (13369) Royal West Surrey Regiment. Died Saturday 31st August 1918 aged 28 years.
WENHAM	Wilfred Stephen	Trooper 2185. 1/1st Royal East Kent Yeomanry (Mounted Rifles) (REKMR). Died 11th February 1915.
BATES	George Samuel Peck	Private 2130682. 1st Battalion, Canadian Infantry (Manitober Regiment). Died during training on Wednesday 13th November 1918 aged 32 years.
