is no memorial but there are two World War 1 commemorations on family
graves in Alkborough Cemetery.

11th April 1916. Son of William and Hannah York of Alkborough, Lincolnshire.
Born c. 1893 Alkborough, enlisted Grimsby and resident Alkborough
(as SDGW, apprenticed at Spalding as 1911), Lincolnshire. Commemorated
