There is no memorial but there are two World War 1 commemorations on family graves in Alkborough Cemetery.

Lance Corporal 10/271. 10th Battalion, Lincolnshire Regiment. Died 11th April 1916. Son of William and Hannah York of Alkborough, Lincolnshire. Born c. 1893 Alkborough, enlisted Grimsby and resident Alkborough (as SDGW, apprenticed at Spalding as 1911), Lincolnshire. Commemorated Le Touguet-Paris Plage Communal Cemetery. Plot II. Row B. Grave 10.

Born Doncaster, YKS (as SDGW, born Alkborough as census and birth recorded Lincolnshire), enlisted Gainsborough and resident Alkborough, Lincolnshire.
