The easternmost stained-glass window of the south aisle has five panels, the bottom of which commemorate 26 World war 1 casualties. Many of the various casualties appear on more than one memorial other than this one and have been denoted with the following:

Born 1898 Sandon, Chelmsford, Essex, son of Samuel Arthur & Annie Louisa (née Cowan) Atkinson of Nettleham Rd, Lincoln. Enlisted Sep 1916 Gainsborough, Lincs, previous occupation bank clerk. Buried in Grave VIII. H. 1, Tincourt New British Cemetery, France. # +
BELL The Rev. Charles Henry
Chaplain 4th Class, Army Chaplains' Department. attached to 1st Battalion, Royal Berkshire Regiment. Killed in action 23 August 1918 near Motenville, age 30. Born 8.8.1888, North Somercotes, Lincs, son of the Rev Canon James Bell and Mrs. Eliza Mary (née Peake) Bell of Lincoln. Enlisted Aug 1916. Buried in Grave II. G. 10, Douchy-Les-Ayette British Cemetery, France. Awarded Military Cross (M.C.) 1918 for courageous work saving wounded during a retreat. #
CAMBRAY Harry Albert
Private 27083, 2nd Battalion, Lincolnshire Regiment. Killed in action 4 March 1917. Born Farmington, Glos, son of the late William Cambray & Mary (née Harris) Cambray of Louth. Husband of Mary Lily (née Bratley, formerly Cambray) Cock, father of Francis Caroline & Olga Mary Cambray. Enlisted June 1916 Lincoln, previous occupation groom and chauffeur. Commemorated at Pier and Face 1 C, Thiepval Memorial, France.
CANNON Richard
Lieutenant, 8th Battalion, Wiltshire Regiment. Killed in action 5 April 1916, age 20, Mesopotamia. Born March 1896 Lincoln, son of William Joseph & Katherine (née Wright) Cannon of Lincoln. Commemorated at Panel 30 and 64, Basra Memorial, Iraq. #
GRAHAME Francis George
Private 10005, 9th Battalion, Lincolnshire Regiment. Died 21 May 1918, age 35, Beckenham, of tuberculosis developed on active service at Ypres and Hooge in 1915. Born 1883 Reading, Berks, son of the Rev. David Francis Alexander Grahame and Eleanor Amy (née Winscom) Grahame of St. Anne's Lodge, Lincoln. Enlisted 20.8.14 Lincoln, previously a journalist. Buried at Grave V3.7592, Beckenham Crematorium and Cemetery, Kent.
HODGSON Beatrice Mary
Lincoln 38, Voluntary Aid Detachment (VAD). Died 29 December 1919, age 40. Born 1879, Scawby, Lincs, daughter of the late Samuel Edward & Annie Ellen (née Conran) Hodgson of Eastgate, Lincoln. #
HOWSON George William
Serjeant 2643, C Coy 1st/4th Battalion, Lincolnshire Regiment. Missing in action, presumed killed at Loos 13 October 1915, age 28. Born 12 Feb 1887, bpt 3 Apr 1887, Lincoln, son of Seth William George and Elizabeth (née Wattam) Howson of Eastgate, Lincoln. Pre-war occupation painter's labourer. JEUDWINE Spencer Henry
Captain 2nd Battalion, Lincolnshire Regiment. Killed in action 1 July 1916, age 20. Born 1895 Harlaxton, Lincs, son of the Ven. George Wynne Jeudwine of Archdeaconry, Lincoln, and the late Harriet Elizabeth (née Phelps) Jeudwine. Commemorated at Pier and Face 1 C, Thiepval Memorial, France., and in Harlaxton church and Malvern College. #
KELSEY Alfred Alexander
Private 6/40659, Leicestershire Regiment. Died of pneumonia, Rugeley Camp, 3 July 1918, age 18. Born 15 Jun 1900, bpt 22 Jul 1900, Lincoln, son of Harry & Elizabeth Ann (née Johnson) of Lincoln. Enlisted June 1918, Lincoln. Buried in Grave B.886, Lincoln Eastgate (St Peter's) Cemetery. #
MAPLETHORPE Albert Edward
Company Serjeant Major 20002, 14th Battalion, Lincolnshire Regiment. Died of wounds 21 April 1918, age 29, King George Hospital, London. Born 11 Nov 1888, bpt 30 Dec 1888 Lincoln, son of William and Mary (née Johnson) Maplethorpe; husband of Ellen (née Barnes) Maplethorpe, of 61, Bailgate, Lincoln, father of Hilda, Ethel & Gladys Maplethorpe. First enlisted 1908 in 1st Volunteer Bn, Lincs Regt, peacetime occupation plumber. Buried in Grave B.871, Lincoln Eastgate (St Peter's) Cemetery. Awarded Distinguished Conduct Medal (D.C.M.) in 1917 for conspicuous gallantry & devotion to duty. # $ &
MOSS Raphael
Lance Corporal 1654, B Sqdn. Lincolnshire Yeomanry. Killed in action at sea 3 November 1915, age 21, when HM Transport Mercian was shelled by German submarine U38 east of Gibraltar. Born 30 Jul 1894, bpt 26 Aug 1894, son of the late James & Mrs. Keturah Jane Hutchings) Moss of 17 Langworth Gate, Lincoln. Pre-war occupation engineer's fitter. Commemorated at Panel 331, Helles Memorial, Turkey, and in Eastgate Cemetery, Langworthgate, Lincoln. #

Private 2688, 1st/4th Battalion, Lincolnshire Regiment. Killed in action 13 October 1915, age 19. Born 4 Feb 1896, bpt 19 Apr 1896 Lincoln. Son of John and Eliza (née Morgan) Naylor of Middlesbrough, brought up by his aunt Mary Jane Hoodless of Langworthgate, Lincoln. Pre-war occupation engineering apprentice. Commemorated on Panel 31 and 34, Loos Memorial, Pas de Calais, France, and in Lincoln Eastgate Cemetery. #
NEWSUM Clement Neill
Captain 2nd/5th Battalion, Lincolnshire Regiment. Killed in action 26 September 1917 near Zonnebeke. Born 4 Oct 1896, Lincoln, son of Clement Henry & Alice Maude (née Neill) Newsum. Enlisted Feb 1915. Commemorated at Panel 35 to 37, Tyne Cot Memorial, Belgium, in Lincoln Eastgate Cemetery and at Lincoln Christ’s Hospital School. Mentioned in Despatches (MiD) Dec 1917 for gallant and distinguished conduct in the field. #
ORANGE Herbert James
Second Engineer, S.S. "Lesto" (Newcastle), Mercantile Marine. Killed 23 May 1917, age 30, when his ship torpedoed by submarine UC21 and sank off St Nazaire. Born 6 Feb 1886, bpt 7 Mar 1886, Lincoln, son of James and the late Eliza (née Ashton) Orange; husband of Elizabeth Embleton (née Watson) Orange of 16 Chichester Rd, South Shields. Commemorated at Tower Hill Memorial. #
OWSTON William Henry
Second Lieutenant, 4th Battalion, Lincolnshire Regiment. Died of wounds 23 October 1917, France, age 22. Born 1895, bpt 8 Jly 1895 Lincoln, son of Henry Phillips Owston and Katharine (née Barraclough) Owston, of Lincoln. Buried in Grave K. 43, Bruay Communal Cemetery Extension, France. #
PARKER Mark
Lance Corporal 203005, 7th Bn, Lincolnshire Regiment [prev Private 2153 Lincs Yeomanry]. Died of wounds at Etaples 17 October 1917. Born 1895 Lincoln, son of William and Isabel (née Watson) Parker of Howard Cottage, Wragby Rd, Lincoln. Enlisted 1914, previously apprentice fitter. Buried in Plot XXX. Row D.
