The Quadring memorials consist of two plaques, one above the other,
in St. Margaret's Church, Quadring. The World War 1 plaque contains
15 names by rank, name and Regiment of those who died; the World War
2 contains 8 names again with rank, name and Regiment of those who
died. There are two individual plaques also in the church both to
men who also appear on the World War 1 memorial.

To
the glory of God and in loving memory of William Ernest Machin,
aged 28 years, Charles Henry Machin, aged 26 years, who were volunteers
in the Great War of 1914, joined the Lincolnshire Yeomanry, were
sent to Egypt and Palestine they both fell on the same day November
28th 1917 in the battle for Jerusalem, and interred at Tarta. Lovely
and pleasant in their lives and in death they are not divided. This
tablet is erected by their sorrowing parents.

To
the glory of God and in loving memory of Second Lieutenant George
William Pacey, aged 32 years, who volunteered in 1915 and fell
on Crucifix Hill, Flanders April 15th 1918. For ten years Scout
Master of the 1st Notts Y.M.C.A Troop. His life was one of helpfulness
and affection, he was prepared to meet his God. This tablet was
erected by his sorrowing parents, brothers and sisters.
