Within the church of St George & St Lawrence there is awhite marble plaque with incised black lettering, set on a black marble surround with a black wooden shelf below, mounted on the wall of the nave. There is also a framed illuminated document listing those who served. Both refer to World War 1 only.

KING	Joseph	Private 10404, B Company, 6th Bn. Lincolnshire Regiment. Died 29/8/1915, aged 19. Son of Joseph and Hannah King, of Stungate, Springthorpe, Gainsborough. Commemorated on Panel 44 to 46. Helles Memorial.
LIDGETT	Archie Fred	Private 4832, 59th Bn Australian Infantry Force. Died 19/7/1916, aged 21. Son of Fred and Sarah Ann Lidgett, of Springthorpe, Gainsborough, Lincs. Memorial Reference 17. Memorial V.C. Corner Australian Cemetery and Memorial, Fromelles.
SPINDLEY	George	Private 4093, 5th Bn. Lincolnshire Regiment. Died 10/8/1916, aged 27. Son of Mr. G. Spindley, of Keadby Grange, Doncaster. Grave C. 15, Berles Position Military Cemetery.
