There is a memorial to those who served and those who died in World War 1 from Yarburgh, Lincolnshire that is within the church of St John the Baptist Church in the form of a wall-mounted wooden board with the names of those who died recorded on the left hand side and those who served and returned on the right hand panel. The dedication is across the top of the board and the dates are engraved along the lower, carved, edge. The top of the board is in the style of a pediment with the top point removed and in its place a Latin cross. The lettering is engraved in gold. There are 17 names listed, 11 served and returned and 6 made the ultimate sacrifice.
