in the West Ham Registration District, Essex. In the 1939 Register
he was a Commercial Pilot, unmarried, visiting Esplanade Hotel,
Porthcawl U.D., Glamorganshire, Wales. On 23 October 1937 he boarded
the ship "Orama", of the Orient Line, for Australia,
resident Leeford Lodge, Battle, Sussex, aged 22, an Aviator, intending
to reside in Australia.On 23 September 1940 he boarded the ship
"Apapa" to sail to Lagos, West Central Africa from Liverpool,
last UK address The Spa, Bristol, an Air Pilot, intending to resident
in W.C. Africa. In the July to September Quarter of 1942 he married
