INMAN	Edwin Bentall	Sergeant (Pilot) 748460, 82 Squadron, Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve. Country of service United Kingdom. Killed in action flying out of Luqa, Malta, in a Bristol Blenheim IV, serial number V6460, when his aircraft was destoyed in the explosion of its own bombs when attacking an Axis convoy heading for Tripoli, the observer was rescued by an Italian warship, 27 May 1941. Killed in action flying out of Luqa, Malta, in a Bristol Beaufort IIA, serial number AW350, when his aircraft collided with the escorting Beaufighter T5150 of 227 Squadron off Paxos south of Corfu during an anti-shipping strike 22 September 1942.
