The memorials are to be found in St Mary's Church, High Street, Trimley St Mary. The first takesa the form of plaque and the second a stained glass window. The First World War plaque is made from alabaster with a celtic cross above it and contains 17 names; it was unveiled by Brigadier-General S E Massey-Lloyd and dedicated by the Bishop of St Edmundsbury and Ipswich on 16th May 1920, details appearing in the East Anglian Daily Times 17th May 1920. The masons were Messrs. Courthorpe & Sons. The Second World War memorial is three light stained glass window depicting Christ surrounded by his disciples. There are 7 names listed for the Second World War; this memorial was deicated by the Venerable C O George on 6th November 1949.

Husband of Jessie Woolnough of 1 Kathleen Cottage, Trimley. Commemorated on the Arras Memorial. Private Woolnough is also commemorated on the Levington Memorial
WRIGHT	William Frederick	Gunner 340919, 213th Siege Battery, Royal Garrison Artillery. Died 30/11/1917. Buried at Menin Road South Military Cemetery

COWIE	Felix Bertram	Lance Corporal 5772025 5th Battalion Suffolk Regiment. Died 21st June.1941 Age 21 Whilst in training . Son of Emily Winifred Cowie and stepson of George M Moles of Trimley St Mary . Buried in Trimley St Mary Churchyard.
DARLING	Austin Eaton	Leiutenant EC871 19th Hydrabad Regiment. Died 7th January 1942 . Son of Austin Major and Jane Baird Darling of the Old Rectory Trimley . Husband of Evangeline Lownes Darling MA Missionary Bengal. Commemorated on Singapore Memorial.
DARLING	Jean	(BA) Air Raid Warden . Died 9th September 1940 age 34 at Cadogan House Shelter Beauford Street London. . Daughter of Austin Major and Jane Baird Darling of The Old Rectory Trimley . Sister of Austin Eaton Darling . Commemorated at the Chelsea Metropolitan Borough.

MUTUM	Eric Charles	Driver 183508 Royal Army Service Corp . Died 20th July 1941 East age 24 . Son of Alfred and Alice Amelia Mutum of Felixstowe. Commemorated at Halfaya Sollum War Cemetery. Also on Felixstowe and Brandon War Memorials.
