There is a memorial within the church of St Andrew that lists those who gave their lives from World War 1, World War 2 and Korea. In addition there is a Garden of Remembrance within which is a stone plinth with a bronze plaque on top; the garden can be found on the northern edge of Steyning playing field, Charlton Street, Steyning, which contains a memorial that lists those who gave their lives in World War 2. The main memorial lists the men by service and includes their rank with the name.

EMERY	Arthur	Private 5500 11th Battalion, Royal Sussex Regiment. Son of Charles & Eliza Emery, Charlton Street, Steyning.. He died of his wounds on the 18th September 1916 Aged 23 and is buried in Douliens Communal Cemetery, France.
EMERY	Stanley	Stoker 1st Class, Royal Navy K/19954 Lost at sea 31st January 1918 on HM Submarine E50 in the North Sea. It is believed that it struck a mine. Aged 23 Son of Charles & Eliza Emery of 38 Charlton Street, Steyning. Commemorated Portsmouth Naval Memorial.

TREAGUS	Alfred Ernest	Sergeant Australian Imperial Force. Service No 223 Arthur was born 18th July 1887 in Steyning the son of George & Sarah Treagus. Husband of Edith Treagus He died 2nd August 1919 in Australia and is buried at Coburg Pine Ridge Cemetery, Victoria.

Name also appears on Bickleigh Parish Church Memorial Plaque [Devon]. Buried in UN Memorial Cemetery, Tanggok, Pusan, Korea. Plot 70. Row 9. Grave 7847.
