The
Memorial stands at the side of the main road from Whithorn to Wigtown
on the South side of the Village. Made of granite, it lists 18 names
of the first war and 1 of the second. Twelve of the names are on the
Garlieston memorial and two on the Whithorn one. The second war names
are on the west or facing side as you approach it. One unusual name
is given as Pte. Primrose Brown of the H.L.I.
