Cambridge. In the 1901 census he was aged 7, born Cheltenham,
Gloucestershire, resident with his parents at Christ Church House,
Ashford, West Ashford, Kent. In the 1911 census he was aged 17,
born Cheltenham, at school, resident with his parents at The Vicarage,
Hatherden, Andover, Hampshire. Joined the Public Schools Battalion
and was commissioned 2nd Lieutenant in the Royal Fusiliers (City
of London Regiment), 32nd Battalion. No known grave. Commemorated
on THIEPVAL MEMORIAL, Somme, France. Pier and Face 8 C 9 A and
