The Stoke Charity War Memorial is located in St Mary and St Michael’s Church, Off Borough Hill Road, Stoke Charity, Winchester, Hampshire. It takes the form of a battlefield cross that had marked the grave of Lieutenant Gerald Hinton Bailey.

Lieutenant. 13th Battalion, Durham Light Infantry. Died 20 October 1915, aged 21. Born in Micheldever, Hampshire. Son of Frederick Hinton Bailey and Gertrude Agatha Ellen Bailey, of “Stoke Charytie”, Erpingham Road, Bournemouth. Buried at Bailleul Communal Cemetery Extension, Nord, France. Plot I. Row C. Grave 126.
