Compiled and copyright © Transcribed David Hughes and Neil Clark 2004

There is a memorial plaque in Ashford Cemetery, Bybrook, Ashford, dedicated to the civilian war dead of Ashford between 1939-1945. This memorial was unveiled by the Countess Mountbatten of Burma on 11 November 1993.

Their graves are located close by. All the headstones are uniform in appearance and were placed in a straight line giving the impression that they are maintained by the local authority (Ashford Borough Council).
