Private 53169, Devonshire Regiment transferred to 99855, Labour Corps. Died 23 March 1919. Aged 29. Son of Jeremiah and Mary Alice Jackson, of 43, Albert Terrace, Chapel Lane, Blackley, Manchester. In the 1911 census he was aged 21, born Manchester, an Assistant Window Dresser, son of Jeremiah and Mary Alice Jackson, resident Albert Terrace, Chapel Lane, Higher Blackley, North Manchester, Lancashire. Buried in BLACKLEY (ST. ANDREW) CHURCHYARD, Lancashire. New Ground. Section A. Grave 53.

Lance Corporal 51790, 13th Battalion, The King's (Liverpool Regiment) formerly 4767, Manchester Regiment. Killed in action 3 May 1917. Aged 24. Born 18 November 1891, resident and enlisted Manchester. Son of Robert and Alice Jackson, of 69, Cleveland Rd., Higher Crumpsall, Manchester. Admitted to Blackley St Peter Church of England School (Infants), Gorton, Manchester, 27 April 1896, son of Robert Jackson, of Dover Street, Blackley, religious denomination Wesleyan, transferred to Boys School 20 February 1899. Admitted to Blackley St Peter Church of England School, Gorton, Manchester, 20 February 1899, resident 36, Dover Street, Blackley. No known grave. Commemorated on ARRAS MEMORIAL, Pas de Calais, France. Bay 3.

In the 1911 census he was aged 15, born Manchester, Lancashire, son of Thomas and Susan (second wife) Jackson, resident 2, Pleasant View, Crab Lane, Higher Blackley, North Manchester, Lancashire. Buried in COUIN BRITISH CEMETERY, Pas de Calais, France. Plot I. Row C. Grave 15.
