Lieutenant (E), H.M.S. Penelope, Royal Navy. Died 18th February 1944. Aged 25. Born 17th May 1918. Son of Phoebus and Caroline Ethel Finigan, of Old Trafford, Manchester. B.Sc.Eng. (Manchester). In the 1939 Register he was unmarried, a College Apprentice Electric Engineer, son of Phoebies (sic) and Caroline Ethel Finigan, resident 31 Reynolds Road, Stretford M.B., Lancashire. No known grave. Commemorated on PORTSMOUTH NAVAL MEMORIAL, Hampshire. Panel 81, Column 1.

Lieutenant 242234, Royal Engineers. Died as a result of an accident 15th August 1944. Aged 30. Born Manchester. Resident Manchester. Son of John and Florence Annie Fisher, of Manchester. M.Sc., A.M.I.C.E. Buried in MAIDSTONE CEMETERY, Kent. Plot C.C.1. Grave 109.

Flight Lieutenant 122488, 148 Squadron, Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve. Died 20th October 1943. Aged 22. Born 16th July 1921. Son of Arthur and Annabella Forester, of Stockport, Cheshire. In the 1939 Register he was a Student, unmarried, son of Arthur and Annabella Gorester, resident 136 Dialstone Lane, Stockport C.B., Cheshire. No known grave. Commemorated on ALAMEIN MEMORIAL, Egypt. Column 267.

In the 1939 Register he was unmarried, a Student (Engineering), son of Richard M. and Nelllie Foulds, resident 79 Deyal Hurst Manchester Road, Accrington M.B., Lancashire.
