George Philip
Major 101380, Lancashire Fusiliers attached to Indian Army. Died on service in the Middle East 18th August 1943. Aged 24. Born 13th November 1918, and resident Stockport. Son of Harold and Mary Elizabeth Jackson, of Stockport, Cheshire. In the 1939 he was a Student, resident with his widowed father, Harold, at 81 Beech Road, Stockport C.B., Cheshire. Buried in HELIOPOLIS WAR CEMETERY, Egypt. Plot 5. Row H. Grave 5.
JORDAAN
Hendrik Johan
Special Operative, Royal Dutch Naval Air Service. Died of starvation in concentration camp 3rd May 1943. Parachuted into Holland in March 1942 to organise special resistance work; arrested by the Garmans.
