been 29 at the outbreak of war. During his service he spent some
time at Scampton in Lincolnshire but sadly was hospitalised with
tonsilitis at the time of the famous Dam Busters raid. Senior Aircraftsman
working as groundcrew on aircraft. Enlisted in Gloucestershire.
Died in Peterborough on 3rd January 1990. Brother of John (below). |
