S Africa Nov 18th 1901 was erected by
Officers and Comrades of the D and G Companies
and the Stamford Fire Brigade. Aged 24

Private 6686, 2nd Volunteer Battalion, Lincolnshire Regiment. Died of disease 18th November 1901 at Rietfontein. Aged 24. Originally part of Stamford Fire Brigade. See also Peterborough Cathedral and Lincolnshire Regiment Memorial.
