(Known as Donald) A Boy Scout from Terrington St John who was accidentally shot in the leg, which was later amputated, and who sadly died in hospital from the injuries he sustained. The accident took place at Terrington Marsh on Wednesday 9th December 1914 and Donald died on Thursday 10th December 1914. Donald was living at the Coastguard Station at Admiralty Point acting as a Sea Scout. He was 15 years of age. |
