The plaque speaks for itself. There is a web site to link detailing this that includes a memorial garden at the airfield in Schofields N.S.W. which was operated by the Royal Navy during WW2, follow the Dedication ceremony link on the page to see 'Wall & Rose Garden Memorial to the Armed forces that have occupied the area in the past '. The more pictures link has a plaque detailing the sites use.

Schofields was occupied by two Royal Navy MONABs (Mobile Naval Air Bases), Numbers 3 & 6, whilst Archerfield in Brisbane Queensland was occupied by TAMY (Transportable Aircraft Maintenance Yard) number 1.

Full details of the units are on Tony Drury's Naval Aviation Historian, Brighton, UK site
