Walton, Felixstowe, Suffolk. Husband of Ada Elizabeth Mayes, of
7 Foresters Cottages, Lowes Street, Walton near Felixstowe; married
6/05/1911 Ada Elizabeth Elger (nee Rayson). Reservist R.F.R., Ch.B.2840
(Ch). Enlisted Navy as a Boy, Class 2c on 14th November 1898 and
in the 1901 Census he was listed in the ship’s company of
HMS Theseus in Malta but now only apparently 18 years old rather
than 21 years old. Commemorated on the Chatham Naval Memorial, Chatham,
